 2022 Preview 


       Westbrook Christian completed the 2021 season with a 4-6 record. Last year Westbrook Christian just missed making the playoffs with a fifth place finish in Class 2A region six with a 2-5 region record.

       Westbrook Christian took a step backwards last year with their first losing season since 2017. The Warriors hope to rebound after a down year. Last season they struggled winning just four games which followed a 10-2 record in 2020.

       Since 2010, Westbrook Christian has gone a combined 70-57. Their 55.1% winning percentage ranks 26th in Class 3A over the past twelve seasons.

       Over the past 25 seasons, Westbrook Christian has managed to compile a record of 153-120. Their 56.0% winning percentage ranks 24th in Class 3A and 137th in the AHSAA.




       The Warriors are led by head coach Drew Noles who is entering his fourth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 22-12 over the past three seasons at Westbrook Christian. Under his direction the Warriors have qualified for the playoffs a total of two times. They have not won a region crown with Coach Noles.

       Coach Noles' overall record as a head football coach in twenty-two season stands at 154-94 (62.1%). His 154 wins rank 26th among active coaches in the AHSAA. Over the course of his career, Coach Noles' teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of seventeen times and won two region championships.

       The Westbrook Christian Warriors will play in Class 3A region six during the 2022 season. The Warriors move up in classification to Class 3A. They may find the going slightly tougher with the move. The Warriors have one of the toughest schedules in Class 3A. Their opponents had a combined record of 58-42 last season. That ranks 9th in Class 3A and 53rd in the AHSAA.

       It will be an uphill battle for the Warriors if they hope to grab one of the four playoff slots in region six this season.

       The Warriors open the 2022 season on the road against non-region opponent St. John Paull II on Friday, August 19.

       This will be the second meeting between Westbrook Christian and St. John Paull II on the football field. The Warriors have a 1-0-0 record against St. John Paull II. They last met in with
